Obituary for Mary Antonucci (Raguso)
MARY ANTONUCCI, 91, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at home. She was born in Bronx, NY, and resided there until settling in Jackson Twp., 20 years ago.
Mary was the owner of Mary’s Cleaners, Bronx, NY, for several years prior to her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Raffaela Raguso; her brothers, Frank Raguso and Luciano Raguso; and by her husband, Louis Antonucci in 1989. Mary is survived by her son, Mark Antonucci of Stony Brook, NY; her daughter, Patricia Watson of Waretown, NJ; her 6 grandchildren; and by her 9 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2-6 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2020, at St Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp. Please gather at 8:45 AM at the church. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, 100 Mill Rd., Putnam Valley, NY 10579. All services and gatherings will be following the current CDC guidelines pertaining to the coronavirus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942 www.stjude.org and would be greatly appreciated.
