Obituary for Janina Myszka (Zakrzewski)
JANINA MYSZKA, 90, of Lakewood Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at home. She was born in Dobra Woda, Poland, and has resided in Lakewood Twp. for the past 25 years.
Janina was employed as a seamstress and bridal fitter for Kleinfeld in Brooklyn, NY, prior to her retirement in 1994.
She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake Church in Lakewood Twp.
Janina was predeceased by her parents, Lukasz and Katarzyna Zakrzewski; and by her husband, Leon Myszka in 1990. She is survived by her sons, Richard Myszka and his wife, Mary of Allenton, NJ, and Edward Myszka and his wife, Leslie of Milton, GA; her daughters, Mary Capitelli of Rotonda West, FL, and Elizabeth Kalash and her husband, Leslie of Jackson Twp., NJ; her grandchildren, Danielle Kalash and her husband, Steven Pejoski of Jackson Twp., David Kalash of Jackson Twp., Jennifer Kalash of Jackson Twp., Andrew Kalash of Jackson Twp., Luke Myszka and his wife, Allie of TN, Alec Myszka of TN, Cole Myszka of TN, and Chris Capitelli and his wife, Cayla of FL; and by her great grandchildren, Clark Capitelli, and Stella Janina Pejoski.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 7:30 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at the funeral home. Her funeral liturgy will follow at 8:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Interment to follow in Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th St., Brooklyn, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Janina’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and would be greatly appreciated.
