Obituary for Michael J. Seyglinski
MICHAEL JOSEPH SEYGLINSKI, 28, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was born in Edison NJ, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, prior to settling in Boca Raton.
Michael was a graduate of Towson University, MD, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. He was a member of the fraternity, Phi Sigma Kappa and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.
He was the owner of Sun Coast Yacht Detail, LLC, Boca Raton, FL.
Michael was a natural born leader, selected as Team Captain for Brick Hockey Club and Donovan Catholic Varsity Team. He then went on to play College Hockey at Towson University for 1 year before being recruited to a Junior AA team in Pennsylvania. After his first season at Junior level he realized how important education was and returned to Towson University to graduate. He was also a coach of the Brick Hockey Club, Jackson Liberty High School JV Hockey, and assistant coach of Jackson Liberty High School Varsity Hockey.
Michael was predeceased by his grandfathers, Joseph Seyglinski and Jack Hospidor. He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Camilla Seyglinski; his brothers, Jeffrey Seyglinski, and Tyler Seyglinski; his sister, Noelle Seyglinski; and by his grandmothers, Eleanor Hospidor and Joan Ogorek; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
When attending Michael’s visitation the family has requested that no one wear black. Everyone should wear bright spring colors and hockey players should wear your jerseys.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM, on
Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp, NJ. His funeral liturgy will be offered at 10:30 AM, on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at the church at 10:15 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Michael’s memory to www.gofundme.com/michaelseyglinski . A private cremation will follow.
