Obituary for William T. McCuen
WILLIAM T. MCCUEN, 82, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Sunrise @ Jackson, Jackson Twp. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa and resided in Little Silver, NJ, before settling in Jackson Twp., 12 years ago.
William was employed in the shipping industry for many years before working in Commercial Real Estate until his retirement.
He was a United States Veteran serving in the Naval Reserve, a United States Merchant Marine Alumni, and Cert of Westlake member. He was an avid NY Giants and NY Ranger fan.
William was predeceased by his parents, Roy Aaron and Margaret McCuen. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary McCuen of Jackson Twp., his son, Terrance McCuen and his wife, Mary of Lakewood Twp.; his daughters, Justine Dee and her husband, Mike of Charlotte, VT, Suzanne Wiedmont and her husband, Walter of Manahawkin, NJ, Christine Rothauser and her husband, Kevin of Wall, NJ, and Dyan McCuen of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Hannah, Bennett, Lawrence, Lily, Olivia, Lindsey and John; and by his great grandchildren, Wylie and Garrett.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A funeral gathering will be offered at 9:30 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Cremation will be private.
