Robert J.  Marrama
ROBERT J. MARRAMA, 95, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Bartley Healthcare, Jackson Twp., NJ. He was born in New York City, and resided in the Bronx, NY, and Manchester, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., one year ago.
Robert was a United States Navy Veteran serving as a Seaman First Class during WWII, receiving the American Theater Medal, Victory Medal, European Theater Medal with one star, and the Asiatic-Pacific Medal.
He was employed as a Mason/Bricklayer in New York City prior to his retirement.
Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Laura M. Marrama in 2016. He is survived by his son, Robert Marrama and his wife, Diane of Eastchester, NY; his daughter, Carol Conti and her husband, Joe of Jackson Twp., NJ; and by his 2 grandchildren, Krista Marrama of Miami, FL., and Robert Marrama of Hartsdale, NY.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Monday, October 1, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:45 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the funeral home. His Committal Service with Military Honors will follow at 10:00 AM in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Arneytown, NJ 08562.
