Obituary for Emanuel J. Colonna

EMANUEL J. COLONNA, 54, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Howell Twp., NJ, and Freehold, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp.
Emanuel was employed as Police Officer for the New York City Police Department, retiring after 20 years of service.
He was predeceased by his Father, Joseph Colonna. Emanuel is survived by his Sons, Joseph Colonna, and Andrew Colonna; his Daughter, Lauren Colonna; his Mother, Marguerite Colonna; his Brother, Lenny Colonna and his Wife, Linda; and by his Sisters, Cori Leontaris, Jaime Colonna, and Jennifer D’Atri.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday, April 20, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. His Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9:30 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. Please gather at 9:15 AM at the church. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Emanuel's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942 and would be greatly appreciated.
