Thaddeus "Teddy"  Domanski
THADDEUS “TEDDY” DOMANSKI, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ, after a short illness. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and resided there for more than 50 years before relocating to Holmdel, NJ, for 20 years, then settling in Jackson Twp., 13 years ago.
Teddy was employed as a Machinist for Dixon Ticonderoga Co., Jersey City, NJ, for 40+ years, retiring in 1991.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving as a PFC during the Korean War and received the Army of Occupation Medal for Japan, The Korean Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star and the United Nations Service Medal.
Teddy was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.
He was a wonderful, caring, gentleman, devoted to his family and his Catholic faith.
Teddy was predeceased by his Parents, Stanley and Sophie Domanski; his Sisters, Estelle Woods, and Helen Weisbrod; his Brothers, Chet Domanski, Eddie Domanski, and Hank Domanski. He is survived by his Wife of 33 years, Carol Domanski; his Brother, John Domanski; his Nieces and Nephews, Melanie Bates, Rosemary Domanski, Steve Domanski, Harold Domanski, Ken Domanski, Arleen Dunne, Marsha Flynn, Joan Samiec, Dennis Weisbrod, Joseph Weisbrod, and Warren Woods; his Great Nieces and Nephews, Lori Baranowski, Jonathan Bates, Jenna DeMastes, Jesse Domanski, Marissa Domanski, Michael Dunne, Tim Dunne, Scott Flynn, Kerry Flynn, Emma Kitzmiller, Kendra Novotny, Laurie Pepitone, Theresa Peoples, Karen Samiec, and Richard Samiec; his many Great-great Nieces and Nephews; and by his devoted Dog, Buddy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:00 AM on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:00 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ 07031.
