Obituary for Andrea Furlong (Quero)
ANDREA FURLONG, age 76, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017, at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus in Lakewood Twp., NJ. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, settling in Jackson Twp. 55 years ago.
Andrea worked as a clerk with the Ocean County Library System, starting in Toms River Twp. and then in Jackson Twp. for 10 years, retiring in 1989.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson Twp.
Andrea was predeceased by her Parents, Thomas and Ines Quero; and by her Husband, Thomas W. Furlong in 2010. She is survived by her Daughters and Son-in-law, Allison Furlong of Jackson Twp., NJ, Marcy Furlong of Jackson Twp., NJ, and Jennifer and Greg Biele of Jackson Twp., NJ; her Sons and Daughters-in-law, Thomas Furlong of Fairfax, VA, Christopher and Tina Furlong of Aldie, VA, and Timothy and Denise Furlong of Howell Twp., NJ; and by her Grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Nicholas, Ryan, Joey, Sarah, Thomas and Aubrey.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Visitation on Thursday, August 3, 2017, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM followed with her Memorial Ceremony at 1:00 PM at The GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. Her Committal Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Arneytown, NJ. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Andrea to the Alzheimer’s Association, Attention: Team Poppa’s Pals, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834, and would be greatly appreciated.
