The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jean Elias can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: After reading Jean's obituary in the Asbury Park Press and some of the entries in Caringbridge, I had to leave a condolence. To Jeff, the children and all of Jean's family I am so sorry for your loss. Although I do not know any of you personally, as a teacher, mom, wife, Catholic I had to write to you to let you know that Jean's story has reached people. Although there are no true words to heal your pain, please know that I will keep all of you in prayer at this difficult time. Be sure to pray to Jean for guidance when the going gets tough.
May all of you be granted strength, peace and guidance as you begin this new part of your journey.
