LAWRENCE E. WHELAN, 71, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at home. He was born in Newark, NJ, and resided in Matawan, NJ, before moving to Jackson 6 months ago.
Lawrence was the owner of Robert McClorry Roofing, and more recently became a Conductor for NJ Transit.
He was predeceased by his Parents, Harold and Dorothy Whelan. He is survived by his Daughter, Jacqueline Whelan and her Mother, Karen Burke Whelan; his Brother, Buz Whelan and his Wife, Kathy; his Sister, Robyn Whelan; and by his Nieces, Nancy Whelan and Kathleen Dykman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial gathering on Sunday, December 18, 2016, from 2-5 PM with his Funeral Service at 3 PM at the GEORGE S.
