JOAN ANN JOHNSTONE, 71, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Twp., NJ. Joan was born in Newark, NJ, settling in Jackson Twp. 44 years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church and a homemaker.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, John and Edith Littriello. She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, John Johnstone; her beloved daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Michael Britt of Bordentown, NJ, and Dawn and Richard Marlow of Sanatoga, PA; her beloved son and daughter-in-law, James and Lauren Johnstone of Bricktown, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Corey, Kevin, Jakob and McKenna; and by her loving brother and sister-in-law, John and Anna Littriello of Plantation, FL.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Monday, December 29, 2014, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at THE GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 8:30 AM at the funeral home. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ. A private cremation will follow.
